Cocoa Packet Analyzer is an application for Mac developed in Cocoa that works as a network protocol analyzer and packet sniffer. This program lets you run basic packet sniffing and it also includes the possibility to filter them according to a regular expression. Select the network interface that you want to capture and then click on 'Start'.
The capture sessions are saved in a PCAP file, an industrial standard for reading, capturing and writing file streams. Don't forget to enable the promiscuous mode to capture all the packets directed to other Mac addresses.

Cocoa Packet Analyzer is a native Mac OS X implementation of a network protocol analyzer and packet sniffer. CPA supports the industry-standard PCAP packet capture format for reading, capturing and writing packet trace files. Features: Packet capturing (NOT available for the Mac App Store version!).
